About Withsara

During 2020 the whole world was at a standstill and going to the studio or the gym was not an option for most women. Withsara was started by Sara Olafsdottir during Covid quarantine in her home country of Iceland. Pre-pandemic, as Sara had cultivated a strong following on her own, in studios in Stockholm, she realized that if she could share her workouts with the women around her, they could experience a studio workout in their living rooms.

One year later, thousands of women from over 50 countries have signed up for Withsara. What started as a way for a few women to get a workout in during lockdown has now transformed into something bigger and more meaningful than was ever imagined.

You are a new mom, building a family, a home, or a career. As we all struggle to keep up, learning to prioritize ourselves and taking the time to care for ourselves is not only lovely, it’s essential.  Withsara is your workout space to accomplish just that.

Your Space
We want Withsara to be a space for you to experience a sense of calmness. Entering the website to take a class should feel like walking into a beautiful studio, instantly inspiring and motivating you to work towards your goal.

Your Balance
Balance means to remain upright, steady and consistent. We want to help you create a sustainable and lasting change that will help you feel and look your best: balanced workout routine, balanced diet, balanced life.

Your Guide
When you step onto the mat I want you to feel like we are in the same space, and give you the best class possible and personally guide you through class, no matter your experience level.

Sara is a world-class instructor that will empower you to grow and achieve your fitness and wellness goals.

From the age of 6-20, Sara studied ballet at the School of Classical Dance in Iceland, before shifting her focus towards contemporary dance, when she got admitted into the renowned Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, England.

After her studies in Laban, Sara became a fitness group instructor and took her yoga teacher training at Yoga Shala Iceland. In 2013, to build on top of that foundation, Sara studied Ashtanga yoga under the guidance of Kino McGregory in India.

Before starting Withsara, Sara had been a yoga teacher, group fitness instructor, and master trainer at various studios for the past decade, both in Sweden and Iceland.

After giving birth to her two beautiful daughters, Sara had to build up her body twice pregnancies. With her experience, she has created workouts that are a great combination of low impact, functional movement, pilates, barre, and yoga. They build up deep core strength, creates sustainable and lasting change, relieve physical tension and mental stress, and gives you an overall healthier and happier body.
