Get ready for the Summer Power Challenge

Starting a Withsara challenge is an excellent way to improve your well-being and achieve your fitness goals. However, it's essential to have the right mindset to get the most out of the experience. Here are some tips to help you develop the right mindset when entering the Summer Power Challenge:

Set realistic goals

It's essential to set achievable goals that you can realistically accomplish. This will help you stay motivated and focused throughout the challenge. The workouts in the Summer Power Challenge are never longer than 30 minutes and are designed to ease you into the challenge and give you a little adjustment period.

Decide your time beforehand

It can be helpful to decide at what time you will do your workouts.  Reserve 30 minutes on your workout days to make sure that you will prioritise the class that day. The workouts in the Summer Power Challenge are never longer than 30 minutes and are designed to ease you into the challenge and give you a little adjustment period.

Be consistent

Consistency is key when it comes to any kind of physical activity. It doesn't matter if you're lifting weights, running, or doing yoga - if you want to see results, you have to show up and do the work.

That being said, it can be hard to stay motivated day in and day out, especially when life gets busy or you're feeling tired or sore. The key is to remember that every workout counts, no matter how long they are.

Stay positive and embrace the process

Staying positive is critical to maintaining a healthy mindset. Focus on what you can do and not what you can't. Believe in yourself and your ability to achieve your goals. Remember that the Withsara challenge is a journey. Embrace the process and enjoy the experience. Celebrate your small successes along the way.

Avoid skipping

It is easy to skip a day, it's also easy not to skip a day. No workout day takes longer than 30 minutes. The compounding effect of all the workout days is where you grow. At the same time, it is important to listen to the body and do your best each day.

Nourish your body with good quality food

Eating a healthy, balanced diet is essential for maintaining good health and well-being. When starting the Withsara challenge, take the opportunity to reboot your eating habits and nourish your body with good food. Here are some tips to help you achieve this:

Plan your meals: Plan your meals in advance to ensure you are eating a balanced diet. This will also help you avoid unhealthy food choices when you're hungry and short on time.

Include a variety of foods: Eating a variety of foods is essential for getting all the nutrients your body needs. Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats in your meals.

Don't deprive yourself: It's essential to find a good balance that suits you well. Don't deprive yourself of foods you enjoy. My goal is to eat 80/20, where 80% of the time I eat healthily and then I allow myself other kinds 20% of the time.

Stay hydrated: Drinking enough water is crucial for maintaining good health. Aim to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water a day.

Listen to your body: Pay attention to how you feel after eating certain foods. This will help you identify which foods make you feel good and which ones don't.

Remember, developing healthy eating habits takes time and consistency. Start small and make gradual changes that work for you. Eating a healthy diet will not only serve your energy levels, improve your mood, and help you feel better, but it will also contribute to your overall well-being.

Remember, developing the right mindset is crucial to achieving your fitness goals. By following these tips, you'll be on your way to a healthier, happier you!
